Council Communications

Recent Consultations

The Council consulted on proposed APC fees for 2026-27.

Submissions closed 25 November 2025. The Council considered submissions and resolved to approve the fees as proposed. A summary of the submissions received can be found here. The confirmed fees can be found on the 'Fees' page of the website.

 

The Council consulted on proposed revisions to its accreditation standards for education programmes leading to registration as a Chinese medicine practitioner in October 2025.

The consultation document can be viewed here.

Submissions closed 1 December 2025. The Council considered submission and resolved to approve the revised standards with minor amendments based on submitter feedback. A summary of the submissions received can be found here.

The Council consulted on proposed revisions to the wording of its scopes of practice in September.

The Council consulted on the proposed revocation and accreditation of prescribed qualifications in July 2025.

Ministry of Health Discussion Document - 'Putting patients first: Modernising health workforce regulation'

The Ministry of Health recently issued a discussion document seeking public input on the possible reform of health regulation. Submissions closed on 30 April 2025.
